Say Hello 2 Senses

With their second EP of the year dropping last night, today seemed like a good day to put the spotlight on Senses. Self-described as "emo-friendly, punk curious" - Senses has a fun sound that is reminiscent of early 2000's punk bands that got a lot of air time on the radio but Senses' sound is bolstered with Madison Taylor's powerful vocals, which a friend recently described as Pink-ish.

The band has had a busy 2025, not only dropping two EP's - but after dropping "I'm Still Breathing" - they headlined a tour across the US, making a stop at the X-Ray Arcade in Cudahy, WI - where Madison showed off her dairyland-pride dawning a pair of "WisCANsin" shorts. After the US headline tour, they headed to Australia - dropped some more singles - and then back to the US for a tour with Marianas Trench. And this fall Senses are across the pond for a short tour in the UK.

Hopefully many of you got to see them this year as Nick and Madison were literally all over the place. If you are looking to keep up with them, they do a good job dropping videos regularly on their YouTube.

The newest EP "On To Something" collects recent singles "Obsessed", "Clean Cut", "Tiptoeing", and "On To Something" with two new songs "Skin" and "You and I".

"Tiptoeing" has all of the qualities of a song of the summer. If you weren't a Senses fan before, it might just be the song that gets you hooked. Check it out here:

If you're looking for an emotional slow jam - that fits the "emo-friendly" part - check out "You and I", it's the slow jam you've been waiting for.

We got hooked on Senses when they dropped "Pull Me Under" in late 2024. The tracks dropped have been consistently good listening, the live show is full of energy, positive vibes, and it's just a ton of fun. Go see them, but maybe before you do, have a listen to "Pull Me Under".

"Pull Me Under" made our Favorites of 2024 playlist - landing the 14th spot overall. At the time, we described it as a truly universal song because if you listen to the lyrics, you've probably been there. And they landed 3 spots on the 2025 Q1 playlist with other songs from the "I'm Still Breathing" EP.  If you get a chance - go see them, we know we certainly will.
